This is a free knit shirt pattern for children. It is placed on the fold before cutting to make a one-piece pattern. It has a V front for a crossover knit band neckline finish.
This pattern has a relaxed fit with added ease by default.
If the hips are wider than the chest, the pattern will flare out from the waist to the hip line.
The pattern is hip length but can be made longer by using the Add length to bodice variable.
The shoulder width and neckline are adjusted for the addition of a 1.5”/38mm finished width knit collar band.
There is a 1/4"/6mm seam allowance by default. Change to 1/2"/13mm or greater, if you are using a serger. The bodice includes a 1”/25.4mm hem by default.
