This tool adds a curve point to an existing curve. Adding a new curve point to an existing curve will always distort its shape.

Select the curve to add the curve point to.

The point will be added at the center of the curve. Note how the curve has deformed with the addition of the point.

You can move the point along the curve to locate its final position.
