This tool allows you to multiple points to lines, curves and polylines.
Select a line or curve that you want to place the points on.
Next you will be given a number of ways to add the points. When you enter a value in one box, all the other boxes will update.
Number of Points
This will place a number of points an equal distance apart on the line or curve.
Number of Segments
This will turn the line or curve from one segment into the value you enter. For example, adding two points results in three segments.
By Length
You can enter the length of each segment and the points' placement will be calculate for you. In many cases, it is hard to determine the length of each segment so you may have a remainder.
If this happens, the program will display the value of the excess. You will be asked if you want the excess at the Start or End of the line or curve.
