Overview

This is a free sailor collar with a v-neck center front pattern. The center back drops down 8" / 203mm by default. The width of the collar at the shoulder is defined by squaring the horizontal back line over the shoulder to meet at the v-neck drop in front. This results in a fairly wide collar.

It has a 1/2" / 13mm shoulder overlap, which equates to approximately 1/8" / 3mm rise. The collar center front point is defined by the v-neck of the bodice.

The pattern includes a dashed line for cutting the under-collar, which is 1/8" / 3mm narrower than the collar at the center back and tapering to 0.

Compatible front and back bodice patterns are required for this draft. If they are not included in the basket,  a standard sloper will be drafted  for the necessary data and then discarded.
