Overview

This is a free front bodice pattern for use with a raglan sleeve for the X body type. It is placed on the fold before cutting to make a one-piece pattern and is intended for knit fabrics. It has a simple knit band neckline finish.

If the hips are wider than the chest, the pattern will flare out from the waist to the hip line.

The pattern is hip length but can be made longer by using the Add length to bodice variable.

The shoulder width and neckline are adjusted for the addition of a 1”/25.4mm finished width knit collar band.

There is a 1/4"/6mm seam allowance by default. Change to 1/2"/13mm or greater, if you are using a serger. The bodice includes a 1”/25.4mm hem by default.

The drafted armhole will likely contain a sharp point that should be rounded into a more curved transition.
